The stupid thing here is that mass transit, pedestrians, and cyclists are all way better for small businesses than huge parking lots and enforced car dependency. There’s lots of studies that show that car dependency really only benefits big box stores and big corporate chains. Fucking dumbasses.

It’s because it requires removal of 138 parking spaces.

Right, but there’s lots of studies that show that those parking spaces are actually much more beneficial to everyone- business included- as bike lanes, bus lanes, seating stalls, and nearly anything else besides parking.

I wouldn’t classify most as small business anyway.

Another example of AI putting real humans out of work. Up until recently I used to to get paid good money to ride my bike in loops past survey cameras while wearing different hats. Now, my phone never rings and I’ve had to slowly sell off my collection to make rent. Even if I do get another job offer, I’m down to like 7 hats, most clients I deal with expect twice that many hats for the money they spend.

People say right-wingers aren’t creative. But look at all the different ways they’ve found to say ‘lies’!

AI doesn’t kill people. People kill people!

AI does, however, kill polar bears.

He adds that the space issue would be compounded by Uber and Instacart drivers, who need somewhere to park while they pick up orders for customers.

Maybe with the bus lanes your new traffic from getting bus loads of people to your doorstep will mean that people don’t need to get food delivery as much.
