I think I first saw it on some rather basic memesites before “meme” was even really a concept. Well, technically it’s been a concept since Dawkins coined it in the 70’s, but “meme” wasn’t really in colloquial use in the 00’s.
You do know you don’t have to comment…right? Like, what was the goal of coming to comment that this format doesn’t excite you anymore, as if this is an experience personally curated for you?

It’s in the nature of memes to be repeated. I’ve just personally got weary of this one. Although I do enjoy this variation more than the others.
